Frequently Asked Questions


The health & safety of our RoundTable community is of utmost importance to us. In order to ensure a safe environment for all participants, we are taking all possible precautions and have enacted careful health & safety requirements for all in-person seminars & events.

Participants who fail to adhere to our safety policy will lose access
to their non-refundable seminars. 

Is Proof-of-Vaccination required for in-person seminars?


Proof-of-Vaccination must be remitted prior to entering the space. 

You must show your Proof-of-Vaccination at the door. We will keep this information on file for 6 months. Once we have your information, you do not need show it again for entrance at subsequent visits to RoundTable.

What forms of Proof-of-Vaccination are accepted?

Accepted forms of proof-of-vaccination are:

  1. Your vaccination card
  2. New York Excelsior Pass app

Will RoundTable perform temperature checks?

Yes. Temperature checks may be taken at the door.

Does RoundTable require masks at their seminar space?

As of August 2021, RoundTable requires those attending in-person seminars and events to wear a mask for the saftey of the community. Moderators may or may not wear masks during their presentation.

What if I’ve been in contact with someone who has Covid-19?

If you have come in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days, we ask that you remain home.

Have you increased cleanings at the facility?

Both seminar space and restroom will be disinfected & cleaned after each session.

What should I do if I’m not feeling well?

For the safety of our community, RoundTable asks that participants who are experiencing any illness stay home. RoundTable reserves the right to restrict access to the premises should a participant exhibit signs of illness.

By attending in-person seminars, participants confirm they are not experiencing the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.

*An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present.
RoundTable Cultural Seminars cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit to our space.
Participants acknowledge they are attending at their own risk of exposure.


Are in-person seminars available?

Yes! The Fall 2021 semester will feature in-person seminars,
in addition to online seminar options.

Are there health + safety requirements for in-person seminars?

Yes, proof-of-vaccination is required. Please review the policy detailed above.

Will you continue to offer online seminars?

Yes! We will continue online seminar options for the foreseeable future.

Are online seminars available on-demand?

Yes! We will continue online seminar options for the foreseeable future.

How can I access my on-demand seminars?

You can login to the RoundTable Member Community to access your recorded, online seminars. Need more help? Email us at office@roundtableculturalseminars.org.


Can I register another person? 

No, each seminar request form is for one person. Please register only for yourself, but do not hesitate to share the news about these exciting seminars with friends! We encourage them to register, too!

Can my registration fee be paid by check?

Yes! Your registration fee may now be paid by credit card OR check!

Can I pay my registration fee in installments? 

No, the selected seminar/s must be paid in full prior to the start of the semester.


What if my seminar has been changed or cancelled?

RoundTable reserves the right to change or cancel seminars and to reschedule sessions. If your seminar format.  RoundTable reserves the right to move in-person seminars to an online format.  If your seminar is changed or cancelled, RoundTable will make every effort to notify you via email. 

Are refunds issued for cancelled seminars?

For cancelled seminars, RoundTable will help you find a substitute seminar; however, when this is not possible, you will receive a 100% refund of the cost of the seminar.

If a session of a given seminar is cancelled and a make-up session is scheduled in lieu of the cancelled session, RoundTable is not responsible for issuing refunds.

Can I withdraw from a seminar after it starts?

Seminars are nonrefundable, so while you may choose to stop attending, RoundTable cannot issue refunds. Please email office@roundtableculturalseminars.org if you have any questions.

What if I miss a session/s?

If you miss an online session, you may watch it on-demand
through the RoundTable Member Community.

If you miss an in-person session which also meets at an alternate time,
RoundTable will make every effort to accommodate you at the alternate time,
but cannot guarantee there will be room.

If you miss an in-person session which meets only at one time, RoundTable unfortunately cannot provide an alternative. However, most participants miss a session or two but still find they immensely enjoy their seminar/s.


Is Roundtable Cultural Seminars a non-profit?

Yes, RoundTable is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Are seminars tax-deductible?

Each seminar fee includes a tax-deductible portion, defined in your confirmation letter. You will receive a letter via email acknowledging your contribution amount at the end of the semester.

Can I make a donation to Roundtable?

Yes, you can support RoundTable by making a 100% tax-deductible donation.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes, donations are tax-deductible.
